For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. ~ Romans 10:10
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
.............. and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. ~ Mark 11:23
FAITH -- real faith, Bible faith, scriptural faith --- > is of the heart, not of the head. What does it mean to believe with the heart?
What is the heart of man?
Well, it's not the physical organ that pumps blood through your body and keeps you alive. You couldn't believe with your physical heart anymore than you could believe with your physical hand, eye ear, nose, or foot!.
Consider how we use the term" heart" today. When we talk about the " heart" of a tree, we mean the center, the very core, of the tree. When we talk about the " heart" of a subject, we mean the most important part of that subject; the very nerve center of it; the main part around which rest to revolves.
Like wise, when God speaks of man's " heart ," He is speaking about the main part of man -- the very center of man's being -- his spirit!
What is it in your heart that pumping to keep you going in faith? in believing ? Is it God centered ? Is it attaintive to His commandments and statues? Where is your heart focus right now, the thought of your heart?
Confession: With my heart I believe God. I do not and will not doubt in my heart.

Mother of Augustine
Pray at all times and on every occasion in the power of the holy spirit. stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all Christians everywhere. Ephesians 6:18 NLT
Is prayer an effective way to change a wayward heart?
Monica, a Christian mother, prayed year after year for her prodigal son - and her prayers were eventually answered when God touched Augustine's heart, through him the entire world.
Before her son was born, Monica consecrated him to God's work. She Warned young Augustine of the evils of the age, but he paid no attention. At sixteen, he was a thief and deceiver. In his teens, he took a mistress and had a child with her. Augustine later wrote he "walked the streets of Babylon in moral filth." Monica consulted with a bishop who advised her to "only pray God for him."
One day, Augustine heard a voice repeatedly say, "take it, read it!" He took this to mean the book of Romans. When he read Paul's admonition to make no provision for the flesh, Augustine believed. A changed man, he became a leader in the church, and his writings profoundly influenced later Protestant reformers.
Persistent, continued prayer is a tool every believer can use to change the heart of one person, a family, a community - the entire world. Pray on!
